Sharad has been a regular at our City Council meetings since the beginning of last year. He doesn't just show up to watch; he shows up to advocate for solutions that make life better for all of us. Over the past year, he has worked hard to deliver real results for our residents:
Fairer Billing: Successfully advocated for Winter Quarter Averaging, ensuring our wastewater bills are based on actual indoor usage rather than total water consumption. This means fair billing for every household.
Better Transparency: Pushed for a more professional, large-scale firm to manage our PID administration. Now, every PID paying resident has online access to the documents and numbers that affect their property.
Smart Growth: Believes Princeton is at a crossroads. We must work to attract more businesses to our city so we can diversify our tax revenue and reduce the heavy reliance on residential property taxes.
Our city is growing fast, and we need leadership that focuses on efficiency, transparency, and high-quality services for our community.
Sharad has already showed he advocates for residents. It was Sharad who first brought the Winter Quarter Averaging to the attention of Safeguard Princeton. We worked together. It is because of him residents received refunds on their waterbills.
